I think that this is a great way for the average person to be able to donate to a good cause. I think that this is great for Brighter Planet and Bank of America to do and sponsor.

If you have to use credit cards (and in this day and age who doesn't?)these are the kind to use. Contributing to a good cause may take out a little of the sting of using your plastic.

Barclays in the UK also have an eco-friendly card launched last July, which apart from contributing to carbon reduction projects home and abroad, also offers discounts for things like insulation.

This allows ordinary people who might not otherwise be able to take part be a part of something really positive. I think this is really great for those that use credit cards a lot. I mean personally I don't use them, but I know a lot of people that do. I also think it will be a good incentitive for the company to make more money. With environmental concerns the bank are sure to make more money. I'm not complaining though because it has to be a good thing. Anything that helps the environment has to be a positive.

well said mickie...I also think that people who are absolutely credit card addicts can atleast to some good to the environmetn by using these kind of cards....

This is awesome. We have a B of A in our town. I may check them out. I hope that more companies do the same.
