It's all sand, anyway, as was noted, and I think it's a grand idea. I wonder, if using a good amount of coloured glass, will it lend the beach sand exotic colouration; and will it glint in the sum? I think it would be quite striking to the senses.

I think mollyl the glass particles will be crushe to such an extent that the coloration will not really be visible...but yes it will definitely give a different shade of sand....

what a great idea, since the glass is just fused sand anyway, grinding it back down and putting it back is a stroke of genius..

Still it makes you wonder, we are even running out of sand! scary..
