Another advantage of limiting that hot shower is that you will wash off less of your skin's natural oils, reducing the need for skin creams,oils, and trying to scratch that place on your back you can't quite reach!

I won't let anyone take my long baths away. Also, low flow shower heads never get the soap out of my hair.

But, I love the tips about phone chargers and the energy star appliances. Did you know that any appliance with a box on the plug/cord uses electricity when not in use? That's why cell phones keep using, they have that box at the plug instead of a regular plug.

Uh! I might just have my husband lower the temperature in our water heater just to save energy because the ways that things our going these days it really is hard. I just can't believe myself the high rising cost of gas and electric not to mention gas for the vehicles, it really is horrible, my family is just going to have to sacrifice, because we are going to have to find ways to safe on heating and cooling.

there are some great tips there..so many small things that we do not even realise like the heating system hot showers etc....we should really think twice now before using any kind of electrical appliance...

little things like unplugging chargers and turning the TV off at the switch not on the standby save an amazing amount, as does just turning your thermostat down by one degree.
