It's a wonder no one's came up with that idea before. Pretty clever! I doubt he'll be able to link to the manufacturer's site for long though for the images. I think that would be classed at hotlinking but I could be wrong.

Actually that is a great idea. I wonder if there is anything like this in the UK.. Cos I for one have enough unwanted shoes to start a shop! lol..

For someone with truly odd size feet (they are the same size, but nearly as wide as they are long)this could be a positive boon! Will be checking it out.

This is a pretty cool idea. I often just give away shoes I'm not using, but this would be a great way for me to find shoes, too!

I remember there was a store in Berlin that sold shoes "individually" so people could "pair" the different sizes. My girlfriend cried when the store closed for good, because only there she could find fabulous shoes that could be bought in a slight different size each. I hope that this will continue!

This is such a good idea, my husband has odd sized feet (one is 4 sizes bigger than the other) and he was very interested when I told him about this site.

this idea is actually pretty simple to incorporate at the ground level...we can just gather old shoes from friends and do the same...

I have never heard about this before, I think this idea should be better publicized, because it is an excellent idea.

I was just thinking...what if we had a similar thing with earring...I keep loosing one of a pair and if we could just pool in all our lost earrings...maybe they too will not be wasted.....what say...:)

LOL! Atula, I am always losing earrings.. but I tend to recycle mine into pendants or brooches, and sometimes use the fixings for repairs to other earrings etc.

We could start our own earring pool though!

I have a solution for the earring: start a new fashion of wearing different earrings! Pair the "ones" and I'm sure you'll set a new trend.

My teenage daughters do that with socks, I don't know why we end up with so many odd socks but they take two contrasting odds and wear them proudly with their jeans.

What a novel, wonderful idea. I think this is a great way to lessen the amount of shoes in the landfills, recycling them!

There is actually a company that sells odd pairs of anything you can imagine, from earrings to socks and flip flops. The colors could not be more different and that is what is selling for them.

Wow, I had never heard about that company berlinlife, I would love to know more about what they sell.
