I have this kids book where you can use old coffee grounds and make a playdough but I haven't tried it myself yet.

I've used coffee grinds in my garden for years because we drink it all day long. We just work the used grinds into the soil and let it do its stuff. The dog flea dip is news to me though. I'd like to find out more on exactly how to do that. Thanks for the tip!

I believe we all know some of the ways of reusing the coffee grinds but never do it...the easiest is to put the grind in the garden like serenity said they have been doing...

even tea leaves, which i frequently use can be put in the palnt beds...they make vey good fertilizer for the plant.

well that's all news to me, except the garden thing.. my mum used to put her used grounds in the gardenias... worked wonders apparently..

I don't use coffee, but I do empty the teapot on to the garden, my grandmother always said it was good for the soil.

I suppose any kind of organic matter will work in the same way. Just like compost. We put teabags and stuff on a compost heap.

I was going to clean my fireplace out this weekend; I'll save the grounds and see how well it works keeping the ash dust down.
