I checked it out, it's a good deal, but some of the pictures and diagrams are missing so you would still need to buy the book to maximize your savings.

Since I live in an apartment, I don't have the possibility to do something like that. But I've read about the "Earthship", and it is a fantastic alternative to producing your own electricity, as well as your own water and even planting your own veggies!

Either someone is violating copyright law with this current release, or someone was selling a book they got for free.

Well, maybe they paid $60 when it was released, but perhaps some organization bought the rights and now the book is available for free. That happens sometimes. Not often, but some times.

Yes I noticed that there was a free version where you could read online and a buy button. Maybe there are persons who want to contribute something to the movement.

Thank you for making me aware of this, it is great that this sort of resource is available online, I hope it will inspire people to make some changes.

I believe that the proliferation of free resources like this is growing evidence that our movement, along with its sense of common good and shared responsibility, can both work hand-in-hand with capitalist ideals and also transcend them. Bravo.
